27 May 14 | Amendments to the Film and Television Office Act

Amendments to the Film and Television Office Act (1988) have been introduced to the NSW Parliament to reform the governance of Screen NSW. The operations of Screen NSW will be unchanged. The changes arise from a whole of government review of agencies in NSW.

27 May 14 | Latest film & TV productions supported by Screen NSW

NSW continues to lead Australia’s screen industry with the State Government investing in film and television productions, creating jobs and promoting NSW.

Minister for the Arts Troy Grant said the NSW Government will invest $625,000 in two new feature films, a children’s series, a feature documentary and three factual programs.

15 May 14 | New environmental app Habitat the Game launched in New York

Developed by Sydney based Elevator Entertainment, new environmental app, Habitat the Game, was launched in Central Park Zoo in New York City in May by The Wildlife Conservation Society and The Rainforest Alliance. The free app rewards kids for undertaking environmental actions and exploring the outdoors.

28 May 14 | Animal Logic wins NSW Creative Laureate Award

Screen NSW congratulates Animal Logic which won the NSW Creative Laureate Award at the inaugural NSW Creative Achievement Awards held on 28 May in Sydney. CEO Zareh Nalbandian accepted the award from NSW Deputy Premier, The Hon. Andrew Stoner.
