Ruben Guthrie, the spectacular dark comedy-drama shot on location all over Sydney will open the Sydney Film Festival in June.

The fabulously poignant and hilarious film was supported through Screen NSW’s Production Finance Program and created more than 100 jobs for NSW cast and crew.

A Night of Horror and Deadhouse Films are calling for submissions for a new short film Anthology Feature with the horrible theme, blood.

The anthology is the first for the festival, and will be produced by Enzo Tedeschi (The Tunnel, Event Zero, Air Lock) and festival director Dean Bertram.
