This year Queer Screen celebrates the 25th anniversary of My Queer Career. This prestigious competition was established in 1994 to showcase the best Australian queer short films. With the support of Create NSW the 2018 retrospective is a greatest hits compilation of shorts from My Queer Careers history.
Australian LGBTIQ shorts premiere on SBS On Demand
Developed in partnership with Create NSW’s Generator: Emerging Filmmakers Fund, SBS On Demand has launched Queer for Short: Home Grown, a series of short films showcasing LGBTIQ stories from creative teams across NSW.
