The Early Stage Development fund is the main focus of Screen NSW's development work and is the area in which most of our resources will be spent. Through Early Stage Development we aim to support you during the critical early stage of a project's life, with both investment and feedback. We want to relieve you of the burden of carrying all the early development costs on your own.

We offer investment in the materials of early development. You can also apply here for funding for business consultants and the writing of business plans for screen content companies. We believe that early planning is important - and will result in projects getting off to a much stronger start.

Applications are assessed on a rolling basis throughout the year. All guidelines should be read in conjunction with the Screen NSW Terms of Trade.
