EASIER APPLICATION PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION FINANCE

Screen NSW has substantially simplified the application process for its Production Finance Fund.

From May 2013, producers who are applying for production finance from both Screen NSW and Screen Australia may submit their Screen Australia application form and materials to Screen NSW, with the addition of only a short supplementary Screen NSW application form relating to the NSW requirements.

This change has been made to assist producers by reducing duplication, and is part of ongoing work by Screen NSW to simplify processes and reduce red tape.

The new application form can be found in the above "Application Forms & Resources" section. 

Producers applying to Screen NSW without Screen Australia funding in their finance plan will continue to use the existing Screen NSW Production Finance application form, which can be found in the "Application Forms & Resources"section above.

The Production Finance Fund provides finance to productions that are produced or post-produced in NSW and have a confirmed finance plan. The aim of the fund is to maximise cultural and economic benefits to the state through support of NSW screen projects, businesses and creative talent.

Screen NSW also asks that you forward the proposed Finance Plan to Mark as soon as possible before the application date.
