Screen NSW will be holding an additional production finance round, opening on 30th March 2012, with applications closing on 10th April 2012.

Decisions will be determined at the Screen NSW Board meeting on 26th April, 2102.

Funds for the round have become available as a result of changes in the circumstances of projects previously approved.

The round is for projects that have their entire finance confirmed (excluding the amount requested from Screen NSW), and are demonstrably able to fully execute their PIA by June 30, 2012. Because of the limited time for assessment, preference will be given to projects that have a completion guarantor.

Projects must meet all other eligibility requirements of the Screen NSW Production Finance guidelines.

In addition to announcing this round on the website, Screen NSW may also contact producers who have previously indicated they are seeking production finance within this timeframe.

The Production Finance Fund provides finance to productions that are produced or post-produced in NSW and have a confirmed finance plan. The aim of the fund is to maximise cultural and economic benefits to the state through support of NSW screen projects, businesses and creative talent.
