Praise be! NSW trailblazer, Kate Dennis, set the world on fire in 2017 with her Emmy-Award nominated directing work on The Handmaid’s Tale. We spoke with the Create NSW Award-winner about what’s on her very full plate in 2018.
Tamara Penniket is “the only female cameraman in the Press Gallery”
This year, Tamara Penniket was made a permanent full-time employee of the ABC as a camera operator and sound recordist – “the only female cameraman in the Press Gallery”. Tamara works predominately in news and current affairs in the Australia Press Gallery in Parliament House and in the ACT bureau. We spoke with Tamara about her career that also spans working across the National Press Club, Australian Story, Four Corners, Landline and Gardening Australia.
