Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) - Indigenous Creators Program 2020

Screen NSW is partnering with Screen Australia's Indigenous Department, in conjunction with the Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC), and state agencies, Film Victoria, Screenwest, Screen Territory, Screen Queensland, South Australian Film Corporation, Screen Canberra and Screen Tasmania, to bring Indigenous practitioners to Melbourne for AIDC, which will take place from Sunday 1 to Wednesday 4 March 2020 at the State Library Victoria.

For a second year in a row, AIDC will be adding to its program a number of sessions designed specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander practitioners. These sessions make up the Indigenous Creators Program, which will be private and open only to Indigenous-identifying delegates, and will provide targeted information and skills around craft and business across documentary and factual content.

Screen NSW will support up to to five NSW Indigenous Screen practitioners to participate in the Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) Indigenous Creative Program. This support will cover registration, travel and accommodation.

HOW TO APPLY:

To apply for support to participate in the Indigenous Creators Program, you can submit an application via this form: https://screennsw.smartygrants.com.au/aidcindigenouscreatorsprogram2020
