Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) - Indigenous Creators Program 2022

Screen NSW is partnering with the Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC), in conjunction with Screen Australia's Indigenous Department, and the other state funding agencies, to bring Indigenous practitioners to Melbourne for AIDC, which will take place from Sunday 6 to Wednesday 9 March 2022 in Melbourne.

AIDC will be adding to its program a number of sessions designed specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander practitioners. These sessions make up the Indigenous Creators Program, which will be private and open only to Indigenous-identifying delegates, and will provide targeted information and skills around craft and business across documentary and factual content.

Screen NSW will support up to six NSW Indigenous Screen practitioners to participate in the Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) Indigenous Creative Program. This support is towards covering registration, travel and accommodation.

To be eligible to submit an application to attend the AIDC - Indigenous Creators Program you must be:

3. Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

4. Able to attend the full program 6 - 9 March 2022.

While the sessions can be attended by anyone identifying as Indigenous, they are aimed at filmmakers who have a project ready for the AIDC marketplace.
