In the lead up to the Australian Children’s Content Summit, Bernadette O’Mahony, Head of Content at Australian Children’s Television Foundation (ACTF) will be joining us on Friday 15 August at 1pm. We’ll be discussing the current landscape of children’s television, what ACTF is looking for, and how local creators can develop stories that resonate globally.
Bernadette will be in conversation with Screen NSW Investment Manager Hayley Johnson, followed by an audience Q&A.
Bernadette O’Mahony
Bernadette O’Mahony is an award-winning Executive Producer and Producer and is the Head of Content at the Australian Children’s Television Foundation overseeing the Foundation’s development, production, and international distribution activities. Across her career Bernadette has worked on a wide range of genres, for many different audiences.
Bernadette’s producer credits include the award-winning series Mortified and Round the Twist. As a highly regarded Executive Producer, Bernadette has helped producers develop, finance, and produce series including Dance Academy, Hardball, Little Lunch, Eddie’s Lil’ Homies, Crazy Fun Park and The InBESTigators, and family films Paper Planes, Dance Academy – The Comeback, Windcatcher and Runt.
Bernadette has worked with broadcasters across all platforms and her knowledge and experience in the development, production, financing, and distribution of Australian children’s content is unparalleled.
