Five NSW developers have travelled to Gamescom 2025, the world's largest event for the games industry and a key trade event, with support from Screen NSW’s Gamescom 2025 Market Travel Program.
The recipients will share in $24,540 of funding to travel to Gamescom 2025 and while on ground will find out more about global gaming trends and industry innovations, as well as make connections with practitioners and decision makers from around the world.
Gamescom is an annual one-of-a-kind event held in Cologne, Germany. The five recipients of the program are:

This is the second year that Screen NSW has offered a market travel program for Gamescom. The program offers up to $5,000 per applicant, to support costs associated with travel, accommodation and registration for Gamescom 2025.
This program is part of range of support offered by Screen NSW to power up the digital games sector in NSW. This includes the Digital Games Seed Development Program, which recently invested over $580,000 in 20 new games from NSW developers, and travel and market support for domestic and international gaming events including PAX Market Support Program, GCAP 2024 Travel Support Program, GDC 2025 Market Travel Program and Gamescom 2024 Market Travel Programs. The Digital Games Rebate expenditure threshold has been lowered to $350,000, making the Rebate more accessible to a broader range of studios based, including many independent studios based in NSW. Through these programs, Screen NSW is supporting the NSW digital games sector at all levels and continues to encourage sustainable growth in the state.
