Disney Studios Australia is the largest fully integrated film and television production centre and media ecosystem in the Southern Hemisphere. The studio occupies a substantial 32-acre site in Moore Park and has a diverse landscape of purpose built studios, heritage buildings and backlot areas that can be used for exterior filming.
A world class facility designed to cater for every scale of film and TV production, Disney Studios Australia houses 9 sound stages, including an interior tank. Stages range in size from 208 – 4,000 sqm / 2,236 – 42,000 sqft covering a total of approximately 15,000 sqm / 160,000 sqft and are fully equipped to industry standard including air conditioning, soundproofing, lighting grids and large access doors. The stages are supported by production offices, construction workshops, art and costume craftshops, make-up and dressing rooms, storage, screening theatres, parking and 24 hour security.
Disney Studios Australia is also home to Australia’s ultimate creative community, offering a high-tech facility portfolio of independent businesses who support the overall offering. Covering production services, lighting, camera, textiles and costume hire, casting, props, special effects, editing, animation, visual effects, music and sound post production, travel, freight, marketing, events and more.

BYRON STUDIOS
Location - Located in the beautiful Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Byron Studios provides high end facilities for domestic and international Film & TV productions, photo shoots etc. and access to locally based professional crew and services while surrounded by natural scenic beauty that offers a rich range and scope of stunning locations and terrains.
Airports - Byron Studios is situated close to three airports - 15 minutes to Ballina (Byron Gateway) airport, 45 mins to the Gold Coast and just under 2 hours drive to Brisbane international airport, with Ballina & Gold Coast both less than 1 hour flight from Sydney.
Facilities - The Byron Studios precinct is currently operating out of two distinct studios, catering to a range of production needs.
Studio 1 is 1,000sqm | 10,750sqft (Height 10m | 33ft) and Studio 2 is 400sqm | 4,300sqft (Height 4.5m | 14.8ft). Byron Studios also offers a 20m x 3.6m | 65ft x 11.8ft paintable Cyclorama, along with 750sqm| 8,100 sqft of secure construction sheds and a large all weather backlot area (45,000 sqm|485,000 sqft).
Both Studios are fully air-conditioned and equipped with high speed fibre internet if required. Studios are located next to each other have separate entrances for easy access and provide total privacy.
Byron Studios can offer bespoke data management systems that can duplicate, store and forward dailies to whichever destination in the world it is needed (1GB synchronous fibre network, Fortigate firewalls & TPN), to make sure safety and integrity of our client’s data for grading and editing can be achieved in the same day.
