Bump is a sharply funny drama about an ambitious teenage girl who has a surprise baby; and the complications that ensue for three families. Set in and around a high school in contemporary inner Sydney and following the main characters home, Bump explores unwanted motherhood, unwelcome new relatives, and unintended consequences with humour and emotional honesty.

Season 1:

Ambitious, high-achieving teenage girl Oly, unexpectedly becomes pregnant, leading to a complicated situation for her and her family, as they navigate unplanned motherhood and the challenges that arise.

Season 2:

Oly, a high school student, and Santi, the baby's father, grapple with the unexpected arrival of their child and the complexities of raising a baby while still young.

Season 3:

Oly and Santi are navigating co-parenting, new partners, Jacinda starting school and a separation that causes them to realise how important family is.

Season 4:

The Chalmers-Davis family navigates chaos and curveballs as Oly becomes the breadwinner, Santi struggles with stay-at-home fatherhood, and their relationships and family dynamics are tested, with the season ending on a cliffhanger.

Season 5:

Oly is unemployed and newly pregnant, desperate to make her mark professionally before the baby comes, whilst doing whatever she can to look after her mum, but she’s not anticipating the obstacles along the way. Bump concludes its five-season run, exploring themes of family, love, and resilience amidst personal challenges.
