Filmed at Disney Studios and on location across Sydney, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is a great example of the expertise, services and locations in our state.
This includes the imagined village of Ta Lo, which Production Designer Sue Chan and her team built in a park 30 minutes from downtown Sydney, NSW.
Sue Chan explains, “Destin wanted the village to feel very grounded, but it is also a magical village, so it had to both express the idea of not being real but at the same time being populated by real people with real concerns.”
Cretton adds: “Ta Lo exists in an inter-dimensional plane. It’s where the climax of our movie takes place and the set where all of our storylines come together, so it was crucial that it be impactful.”
