Development funding
Up to $50,000
Screen NSW Development funding supports writers and producers to develop fiction or unscripted (documentary) and online projects with distinctive ideas and ambitious stories.
Travel funding
Up to $6000 per project
The International Travel Fund supports NSW screen practitioners for travel related to significant international festivals, markets, awards, industry trade missions and financing projects.

Up to $5,000
The IP in Motion Fund will wholly or partly reimburse, up to $5,000, a screen and digital games producers’ cost to option original intellectual property (IP) from NSW-based creators from Screen NSW Priority Areas.
Travel funding
$1 to $2,000
Screen NSW will provide funding for NSW-based individuals or teams travelling to eligible screen industry markets, conventions and conferences within Australia, with the aim to attract support and finance for their projects. Screen NSW will nominate the supported events.
Digital games
Up to $30,000
Targeted at emerging and small-medium enterprise digital game creators, the fund will provide a grant of up to $30,000 for early-stage game development.

Screen NSW has opened a competitive market travel grant to support a limited number of experienced NSW digital games practitioners to attend Gamescom 2025 being held in Cologne, Germany, from 19- 24 August 2025.

The Short to Feature Fast Track Initiative combines funding for the production of a short film or proof of concept, as well as script development funds for a low budget feature film.
